I’m very proud of the work I have accomplished in 2015. I like to put my favorite images together to see what they have in common. This helps to set a course for 2016. I want to step up the mystery and surreal quality. I think I have been afraid to go to that place because it’s not “marketable.” I believe there are enough women in the world that want something on that end of the spectrum. I have found that if I show no fear, neither do the women in my photos. To me that is what all¬†my favorite¬†images have in common, women who are not afraid of anything. There is something defiant in their eyes and even in their body language. So, I believe that is the direction for 2016, “defiant female portraiture.”
